FAQ
-
What is the typical process for booking a photographer?
Once you find a photographer whose style you like, reach out to discuss availability and pricing. It’s common to have a consultation to clarify details, followed by signing a contract and paying a deposit. Once the photographer receives your contract and deposit your date will be secured.
-
When can we expect to see our photos?
This varies by photographer; however, a typical timeframe for SkyBluePhotography for weddings is around 6 to 12 weeks post-wedding. Inquire about your photographers editing process and delivery times to set your expectations.
-
How many images can we expect to receive?
The number of photos depends on the photographer and hours booked. However, you can expect over 200 edited images starting from the 4-hour package.
-
Will we receive the digital files?
Most photographers provide digital files as part of their package, along with printing rights. Confirm what’s included in your chosen package during your discussions. At SkyBluePhotography we provide digital files along with a backed up file of all your RAW images with the option to edit additional images.
-
Can we make a shot list?
Absolutely! It’s beneficial to provide your photographer with a list of must-have shots, especially for family photos or special groupings, to ensure nothing is missed!
-
What if it rains on our wedding day?
A professional photographer will have experience shooting in various conditions. Discuss contingency plans with them beforehand, including potential indoor locations or creative use of umbrellas and lighting.
At SkyBluePhotography, we always have an indoor backup location for bad weather and keep clients informed if the weather is unfavorable for their session.
